S&W M&P **BUG OUT BAG** Combo Deal Cheap !!!
I love my local gun shops
They know me by my first name and always joke around with me
Today was no different as I watched them open a bunch of boxes from UPS and FedEx..
One of the employees shouted out my name "Rick" come look at this !!!
What it is:
it's a Smaller Chest pack (Or shoulder pack)
Combo sold with the M&P 9mm and 5 Mags ,.....YES 5 (four 8 round and one 7 round)
With a First Aid Kit and a S&W mask
It seems to be waterproof Lined (Double-stitched)
with 3 nice sized zipper pockets and a small one on the flap
Each pocket has a double zipper pull tang for ease of opening
And the zippers are stitched with a waterproof rubber.
There are 3 Mag holders on a large inside pocket and a pouch for another mag
The back zipper pocket holds the M&P 9mm tight aginst the pocket
with an included velcro strap(See pictures below)
i never owned an M&P 9mm but for a total package price of only $499.00 US
I couldn't pass it up (Just 4 of the 8 round mags cost $100.)
Im not sure if this combo is a Christmas deal from S&W
or just a cool marketing ploy on their part but I feel for a truck, camping or "BUG OUT" bag this would make a great Christmas present................For Me
Link here:
Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield 3.1″ 8+1 9mm Bug Out Bundle MPN:13383 UPC: 022188885613
Thanks for reading
Best regards and happy holidays, Rick

The Shield in the pic is a 1.0 but that's still a nice package.

I went to the S&W web site and can't find it listed. Please post any additional info you have (SKU number, size of the pistol's frame full size vs. compact etc.). I hope it is not a regional sale item.

Nice bag ($48 at S&W).
And the package, during a shortage, is a great way to clear out the older model Shields at prices on Gun.Deals that are probably favorable to S&W compared to the blow-out prices a year ago..

The bags are shown as not in stock. Must have used them up for this deal

That's nice, but I'd prefer it if it came with a revolver.

I saw 2 package deals like this at a local shop before Thanksgiving. One was a Shield, one had a snubby revolver, I don't remember what model. I think they were both priced at $499. They were sold pretty quickly.

Cool bundle, but sadly it seems like it's only available in 9mm Luger, so it was a pass for me.
It seems like a lot of places, Smith & Wesson included, are trying to clear their inventories of M&P 1.0 variants, because they've been on sale everywhere lately. I ordered an M&P40 Shield 1.0 Performance Center which was on clearance online for $360. Considering that the changes between the 1.0 and 2.0 are so minor, (rougher grip texture and abbreviated front slide serrations mainly) there's really no good reason to pass up on these deals.

This is a nice package. I have been aware of it for a while. For me it makes a convenient travel bag. My only objection is the S&W logo on the outside of bag advertising that is has a gun inside it to anyone that sees the bag. I suppose the Olive Drab Green is probably a good clue as to it’s contents
I have been looking for a similar sling bag without the advertising on the outside.

That is a good deal.
Paid $380 for my .40 1.0 Shield, $415 with tax, and it didn't come with all the extra mags. bag, etc.
And that was before all the panic buying started.
I wonder if S&W is phasing out the 1.0's, I like mine after I stippled the frame.
The same thing in a 2.0 model would have been $550 OTD at my LGS.

Check out "RT511 Tactical Shoulder Sling" bags; they sell for half the price of the bag with the S&W M&P logo.
My wife bought me a somewhat similar RT533 bag for Christmas. The bag seemed decently made and was efficient for its size. However, one end of the shoulder strap was attached inside the bag, which prevented the main compartment from being fully zipped shut. That was enough of an issue for me to return the bag.

I saw one of these in the display case at my LGS today while I was picking up my M&P40 Shield Performance Center and I couldn't help but feel like the little pack it comes in is sort of counterproductive to its own intended purpose as a Bug Out Bag.
It's just so tiny and doesn't quite include even the bare essentials that you'd want in a Bug Out Bag, nor does it include the necessary space to accommodate those things, should the end user decide to add them.
I think that they should have made the bag a little bit larger, thrown in a cheap M&P folding knife, maybe one of those charcoal-filtered water purification straws or even a canteen, waterproof strike on anything matches, fire sticks, maybe even some freeze dried food. Yeah, it would have cost a bit more, but I think it might have had broader appeal and made more sense as a sort of compact Bug Out Bag.
Still, it's a great deal for what it is, I'm just nitpicking how it is being marketed.

I have to agree that for a BOB it's not handy but for an EDC it might just work.

I give S&W points for creative marketing of the M&P line, just a causal scroll through the website reveals various options all with a different sku.
Makes searching for a specific gun simple.

I showed this to my LGS a couple days ago, and he said he had sold some recently. Called me last night and said he’d been allocated a few more, and they were on the way. I’ve got right of first refusal on one of them, and my brother has kinda spoken for one.
This will be my first S&W M&P pistol, so I’m sorta excited. That’s a pretty cool bundle, and all the extra mags make it worth my while to look at. Appreciate the tip by the OP . . .

Picked mine up today. $488 out the door. Very happy with the deal. It’s my first M&P semiauto of any sort, so I’m looking forward to learning all about it . . .

That bag could be pink with "my little pony"s all over it and it would scream "There is a gun in here". I am not wearing a fanny pack, a chest pack, a "shoot me first" vest or black socks with shorts and sandals

Bought it this morning...wow, I'm as impressed as you were OP! The bag is quality, and the pistol goes without saying. Love all those 8 round magazines!
Going to add some other meds to the bag, a small flashlight and such. Also, going to go to the range in the morning, and am going to run each of those magazines through the gun, with three different types of bullet profiles.
