Default Mounting Sig Romeo 1 Pro

So I'm thinking about get a M&P CORE and mounting a Sig Romeo 1 Pro.

Has anyone done this? If so which mount did you use? I heard/read somewhere the Romeo 1 Pro uses the same mounting plate as the Doctor? Can anyone confirm this?

The Romeo 1 Pro shares the same footprint as the Delta Point Pro. I don't know if it will fit the 2.0 CORE adapter plate.

If it shares the footprint with the Delta Point Pro then it's mounting plate number 6 that is delivered with the pistol you must use.

Just an update if anyone is in the same boat. The Sig Romeo 1 Pro does NOT use the same mounting pattern as the Delta Point Pro.

The over all length and bolt holes are the same BUT the recoil lugs are total different. If you do want to use the plastic Smith factory plate you have to file off the lugs, which means the screws are the only thing holding it in place. I just gave up and ordered a CH Precision plate.

When your plate came in from c and h was the middle part of the sku#r1p? If so that is the one that I ordered but they sent me a dip which is the exact same as plate 6 which wont work

Sorry it's mounted and I don't remember any numbers on the plate.

I DO remember the plate would not line up with the shroud. The plate and optic itself lined up fine. But the shroud was off when compared to the plate, but lined up with the optic.

I know it sounds weird but I had to elongate the openings in the plate for the shroud to be mounted.

Well, sounds like you got it mounted.

That's odd. If A fits B and B fits C, then A+B+C should fit. Do the iron sites still cowitness with the shroud?

For others who may try this, bear in mind the P320 slide does not have any recoil posts (lugs) machined into the cut. The R1P (and DPP) attach to the slide directly (no plate) and use the slide cut itself as the recoil lug (yes, it's snug fit).

It also looks like CHPW has struck out (XXX) over the R1P on the plate in the listing on their site. I would contact them to make sure they still support it.

Yes it was odd. Yes the irons do still line up, but are barely visible. The body of the R1P is very high compared to say an RMR and just the upper 1/16 of an inch are visible.

You do realize CHPW offers distinctly different plates for the DPP and the R1P?
