Switching slides on the Shield 1.0 to the Plus

Hi. First post. So I bought a Shield Plus yesterday, and it is so similar to the 1.0, I had to ask:

Can you switch slides from the 1.0 to the Plus?

I have night sights on the 1.0, and didn't get them on the Plus. That's the only reason I would do this, and it would only be until I can find someone with the proper tools to do a proper sight switch.

As added information, the 1.0 has a safety and my new Plus doesn't.

Welcome! There is an article in the current American Rifleman about the Shield Plus, and I recall it states the slides do not interchange with the Shield but the dimension differences are so small that holsters for one will fit the other.
