Default Anyone else struggling with Recall of M&P EZ
I received the letter re; the recall the 1st week of December and promptly validated online and received a "Request Submitted Successfully" reply and advised I would receive an email in 1 to 3 days...NADA

I called in on 29 December and spoke with a human (at least I think he was) and was given a reference number and still NADA

Emailed last week and they replied quickly...blah, blah, blah...your inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department.

Curious if anyone else is having similar challenges

I didn't have any issues, I went to the website earlier this month, put my serial in and information. They emailed me a shipping tag, packed it up , brought it to FedEx and I got it back in 10 days. Nothing was checked on the repair sheet so I guess all they did was inspect it. It hadn't been fired before I sent it in.

I had no issues with the recall. Everything went very smooth.

I alerted a friend to the recall. She followed the process, sent it via Fed Ex, and got it back in 2 or 3 weeks. I haven't seen the paperwork, but she said nothing was checked off on the repair sheet.

Follow the prompts and enter your info, you'll get a label by email and can even call FedEx and they'll pick it up at your house.

Maybe a dumb question... but have you checked your spam files to make sure S&W's email didn't get dumped there? I got an email response with shipping label from S&W in less than an hour.

Just found out about this today, my wife's pistol is part of the recall. Will they ship directly back to us, or only to a FFL?
