Default M&P 40 Shield Magazine problems

Has anyone else had the problems I have. It's impossible to fully load the magazines for my M&P 40 Shield. Not only myself, but even the young guys at the range couldn't do it. In my younger days I worked in the gun business for twenty years and handled many magazines, but none like this. If S&W can't do better than this I'll wait until Sig or Glock comes out with that size pistol and get a good gun. This is not the Smith & Wesson I knew.
