Not in M&P. But I've got very positive experience with M-Carbo springs installed on my CZ P-01.

I installed the M*CARBO spring kit in my .40 Shield. 1.0.

I have since replaced their striker spring with the original because I wanted to take no chances with primer ignition.

Great improvement for around $25.

The main improvement IMO was watching their You-Tube parts polishing video, that really improved the smoothness of the pull.

I think they could have included a larger piece of fine grit sandpaper, but I had plenty on hand.

I'm very pleased with the results!

I don't have a first gen m&p but I do have all their kits in my mossberg shotguns and they work perfect.

Update: My 1.0 (in .40) had a factory 10.5 lb trigger; the original box had it marked that way. I did buy it used. I was told that it was a Police Trade-In. Mine did not come with night sights but did have three 15 round magazines so maybe it is a Massachusetts model(?) and not a LE model.

In any event I have the M*Carbo trigger kit installed and everything was polished up as the video says to do. Let me say that this brought an awful trigger to a "good" trigger. Now it feels about as heavy as any of my other (mostly Glock) striker fired pistols. I am very, very happy with the results.

Normally I prefer stock. Usually stock is fine, but this one was a little beyond normal. This trigger was just super heavy.

Just installed the Mcarbo kit on my shield. Stock trigger pull was 6.5lbs after polishing the parts and installing the springs it is a clean 4.5lbs. I'm very satisfied with the results. I also installed the Apex aluminum enhanced trigger. Great improvement!

Glad to here these reviews, I just ordered a trigger kit for my KelTec P11. It had the original hammer spring which was about 200 pound pull and then they came out with a 10 or 11 lbs spring and I believe the kit is around 5 or 6 lbs pull. We'll see.

I put their kit in my 2.0 45 FS the other day. Including the striker spring.

I've put 200 rounds of Winchester white box through it since then and I did have a single failed ignition. I don't know if it was a problem with the primer or a light strike.

I think the striker spring plays a big role in lightening the pull. I'm going to continue as it is for now and if it keeps doing it, I'll reluctantly go back to the factory spring too.

May have just been a wonky primer.

While not related to pistols have a post '64 Winchester match rifle in 30-06.After watching their video on u-tube I ordered the trigger spring for this rifle. Left one of the two adjustment nuts in place as the trigger pull was too light. And they offer kits for an amazing variety of rifles as well as pistols. Frank

I have a couple hundred more rounds through this pistil now with the MCarbo striker spring and no more misfires. I'm chalking it up to a bad primer.

I did this to mine at the same time as I my M&P. I put everything into it that M*Carbo offered except the trigger. I had previously installed a Northwood trigger.

Trigger spring kit, guide rod, and guide rod spring. I believe that this has put my P-11 at about 4 pounds. So, like my M&P, giant improvement over stock. I wish this had been offered when I carried the P-11 as a backup to my issued 5906.
