Default Thoughts on M&P EZ 9mm Performance Center?

I have the original EZ 9 and like it s lot. Wanted the PC version but held off due to some complaints I read about grip safety being uncomfortable.
Local gun store has one in stock and wondering whether I should get it or not. I know these are hard to come by at the moment.
Anyone have the EZ 9 PC that can comment?

I’d say if the local store has one you can handle then you will be able to decide if the different grip safety works for you.
My 1.0 PC Shield had some upgrades over the std 1.0 but I still liked mine. Even dealing with porting, ammo brands that list “not for ported use” and so on. But I probably wouldn't buy a PC model now, even for the EZ versions that do have different color options.
It’s all personal preference, if you want something then get it. If not then walk away.
But back to that PC grip safety, I have seen posts on here about others looking to swap that for the std component, not sure if they had any luck but maybe something to look into.

Some recent posts about some qc issues on these. I only know because I put in my $0.02 on a pistol I know nothing about...maybe $0.01

Thanks for the input. Do you know if the magazine from the original EZ 9 is interchangeable with the PC version? I'm guessing it is since the frame design hasn't changed.

Well, I went ahead and jumped on it and bought the PC version. Had a chance to take it to the range and my thoughts:

1). This thing looks great in all black. Actually had one person compliment me and ask what I was shooting.

2). Grip safety isn't as bad I thought it would be, but I prefer the grip better on the original EZ. After about a hundred rounds l, it does start wearing on you.

3). The flat trigger is nice. Prefer over the bow shaped trigger. I do not like weight needed to pull the trigger on the original EZ. This one requires I think 4.5 lbs of force to shoot.

4). Definitely noticed less muzzle flip compared to the original EZ. Ported barrel isn't just a gimmick I think.

5). I did get a lot of FTF especially when shooting Federal Premium 115gr rounds. CCI Blazer 147gr wasn't as bad, but did FTF a few times. Going to try 124gr next time, if I can find any.

6). Finally, the Hi viz sights are amazing. I noticed my grouping was much better with the PC than the original EZ. Overall, I think it's a worthy upgrade
