Default Bodyguard M&P with laser question

A friend of mine bought one of these in a pawn shop here in Billings several weeks ago and it is missing the right hand side red activator button.

Smith & Wesson sent one out at no charge.....

What is the proper way to re-install this? Slide off and remove the laser unit? Does it just press on with out any removal of the laser?

Don't have the gun in front of me right now, probably will tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!

Randy
