M&P take down lever.
I saw some old posts on M&P take down problem. Not to beat a dead horse but just thought I would put this out there maybe it will help someone. I can't speak for the 2.0s but the older 1.0 full size pistols. I had some problems with the take down lever not staying down while trying to disassemble, which never gave a function problem but just a pain. There is an updated version of the lever available, Smith sent me one for my 4.25 then when I had a problem with my compact they wanted me to purchase it for $25.00 plus shipping. Because of the guns age. So off to Brownells.com I will share the link for the schematic. $8.00 later I received the updated version. I will post pictures of the changes. The updated take down lever is the one on the right. I've saw YouTube videos how to modify the take down lever to stop this from happening but for 8 bucks.

What year is your 1.0? My FS and Compact are from 2013 and appear to already have the updated TDL.
