I've seen these in other shops and haven't really given them a close look. Today I was at a shop and a young guy had the clerk get out 6 or 7 different compact 9's. One was the Shield Bug Out package. The kid bought a Sig. I took a 2nd look at the Shield.
The backpack and first aid kit wasn't that exciting but the Shield, with a total of 5 mags, was.
It fills a hole in my collection and I don't even have to go shopping for more mags.
I wanted to pick up some extra ammo too. This shop had some 9mm ammo, but 50rd boxes were $49.99 a box. I'm not that hard up yet.

I dropped a used PT-22 in one of the pouches on my EDC go-bag in a pocket holster with a spare magazine (fully loaded)! and a 50 round box of .22LR. My bug-out bag is a bit bigger with my AR-7 broken down, 3 magazines, and 300 rounds of .22LR.

Man the price of ammo and the bare shelves at all the gun shops sickens me! I remember a few years back when ammo shelves were empty and 22s were nowhere to be found, My nephews 4H 22 shoots were just about to be canceled, Until a few locals donated enough ammo to get the kids through. And i've always said imagine if the local box stores ran out of ball gloves or baseball bats, basketballs or any other sports equipment other than something for shooting sports....... what do we think would happen then....

Yeah, the going price for 50 rounds of 9MM ammo here is $50 also, saw some steel case for$35��
