Default This should work...right?

I’ve had the FDE M&P M2.0 9mm for a couple of years. It has the 5” barrel and the SKU is 11537.
Today I picked up the M&P M2.0 9mm Spec Series. Also a 5” barrel but in black.

Is there any reason I can’t swap slides between these two pistols?

As long as they are both 2.0, it should be fine.

Thanks!

Btw, took them for a spin today.

Shot the Spec as original assembly. First mag had a couple of issues which surprised me since the FDE worked flawlessly out of the box. From the second mag on no issues. Swapped slides and both performed perfectly. I’m keeping them in this configuration.

As long as they work, I'm all for cool. That's cool. Now you need a couple of similarly finished ARs to go with!

Just have one M4A3 but I would like a second one. But then again this is a public forum so no, I have nothing that is similar to an AR-15 in my house at all 😉
