Default New Shield

See they put a "glock" style trigger with the swinging dingus in it. Rules it out for me.

It's not a blade.

I'm with you - I dislike the bladed triggers intensely.
But that being said....
The Shield Plus is a bit different. It has a "blade" that rides in the center of the trigger, BUT it has a flat face on the forward side that is almost as wide as the whole trigger assembly. Almost like a trigger within/in front of a trigger, if that makes sense.
If I had to have a gun with a trigger safety, the design of the one in the new Shield Plus would be the type I would go for.
Fortunately I DON'T have to have a gun with a trigger safety - my SIG P365 without one works just fine for me

It's not a blade nor does it feel like one. It feels much better than the hinged trigger.
