I just got four 15 round .40 mags and the followers do not engage the slide stop where those that came with the 2.0 do.

I have no idea if S&W will sell or replace them so if not where can I get replacements that work in my 2.0?

Before you call S&W I would suggest disassembling the mags, clean them completely of all preservative oil and check for burrs inside and around the feed lips, along the weld and the holes indicating number or rounds. Also check the followers for plastic flash and/or injection molding sprues that may not have gotten completely removed.

Mckenney, the followers are VERY different at the slide stop ledge. Not even close. I here's a pic. The two that came with the 2.0 .40 were marked at the facrory with a white and yellow line across the follower.

The one without the line does not even touch the slide stop

The flash and burrs I mentioned can keep the followers from rising all the way up to the proper point in the feed lips where the follower can reach the slide stop. I have encountered that very problem myself. Another problem could be feed lips that are improperly spaced. If you do have to return them to S&W, make sure you return the entire magazine so you are not just attempting to fix one problem at a time. Good luck.

Thx, there are 4 mags, all new and clean. I will call S&W when I get home tomorrow failing that Brownels and Midway were good suggestions I would't think they'd have followers.

Today the four followers came from S&W, the gal who answered was right on it and was great handling it for me. For others who may find this issue here's the part number of the correct .40 followers.
