I bought the Shield package a while back which came with a face mask, a first aid kit, a carry bag, and four mags. Somebody asked me about the S&W mask once, and I told ‘em it cost $400, but it came with a free pistol. . .

$400 - Wow. I bought mine a couple years ago when PSA had them on sale for $249. In the long run a hundred bucks over the life of the pistol isn't that big a deal, enjoy the heck out of it. They are fun to shoot!!

Mine is a handy little thing, I wish the trigger were better.
I read on RFC about a Mr Springfield doing trigger jobs on them, found here - or the other SW board.
Anybody know of him?

Check this thread:
M&P 22c Trigger

I exchanged few emails with Bill Springfield about trigger job on my M&P22C.
It can be done for $65... I never did it because couldn't find any advantages of his job over my polishing.

For all other M&P M2.0 - Apex is a proper route.
