Default M&P 22 Compact Aftermarket trigger

I've been searching for an aftermarket trigger for the MP22C like the Apex for other models of SW. I'm tempted to just glue the hinge shut. I know it'll disable the trigger safety feature, but I'm ok with that. Anyone come up with any solutions?

Thanks for sharing.

I just practice. Bet you get more return from doing the work than trying to buy a technological fix that'll never be there.

If you want a target gun, buy one. The M&P Compact .22 LR is a lightweight plinker, an understudy, even a defense gun for folks with limitations...but trying to make it a target/competition gun seems silly.

Gluing the hinge shut will do nothing for your trigger pull but will make a very dangerous modification to your gun…

There are ZERO aftermarket triggers for M&P22 (M&P22C)...
You can do a trigger job... but it doesn't change a lot.

I 100% agree with ken158. You may make it worst, not better.
Erich got a best solution -> practice.

My Compact 22 was really good for what i had it for, fun and plinking. But it never was as accurate as my Buckmark or Victory 22’s; both had far better triggers not to mention barrel length etc.
Never had any issues after 1k plus rounds (ammo or otherwise) with the Compact, it just didnt hit the range as often as the other 22’s.
But yes I would say if I wanted a target based rimfire I wouldn’t consider the compact. Let alone look to mod one.
Only my .02
