Where can I buy an optic sight ready slide for the Shield 9mm 2.0?

Google?

I use a mounting plate from OuterImpact.com on mine.

It's really difficult to find M&P spare slides. I bought an Outer Impact dovetail plate about a year ago but you can now get your slide milled for around $100. M&P & Shield Optic Cut | DP Custom Works DP Custom Works seems to have fairly low prices with taller sights available if you want to go that route.

Do a google search for slide cuts and quite a few options show up.

While I'm sure there are others out there, the only optic cut replacement slides I have ever looked at are for Glocks.

They typically are in the $250 range, and then you have to take apart your existing slide to transfer the striker/firing pin, extractor, striker/pin safety, and any other pieces that need to be moved to the new one yourself, or add the cost of having a gunsmith do it for you.

Cost wise, it makes more sense to have the slide you already have cut for an optic, or go with a dovetail plate.

I've been using dovetail plates on the pistols I have that are not already cut for an optic. Here's my Shield Plus and M&P 45. I did the work myself, but a gunsmith where I am would charge around $40 to remove the rear sight and mount the plate.
