That’s great! My daughter grew up shooting with me, as did yours with you, and she was never recoil averse until one day she fired my 4-inch .44 Magnum. The fact that I could shoot it without suffering much but it was intolerable to her bothered her a bit. My advice was to forget about the .44 Magnum and to just shoot whatever she enjoys. The gun she shoots and enjoys most is a .45 ACP 1911 PC-model, and she does very well with it. Like your daughter, she can handle anything “reasonable.”
We have not been together at the range since I bought my M&P 10mm, but I’m pretty sure it would not be a problem. The M&P seems to handle recoil a lot better than my Delta Elite. It’s not an unpleasant gun to fire, IMO. My usual handload is a 175 gr. powder-coated bullet at about 1150 FPS. I imagine your Blue Dot load in about 100 FPS faster?
I hope your daughter has a long and safe career.
