M&p 9l performance w no audible trigger reset
Just got a nib but peowned m&p 9l performance center that has no feel or sound to the trigger reset. Watching videos of it this is not normal it appears. Any idea if there’s something I can fix? I really would like to feel or hear the reset. It’s just mush reset right now

You should be resetting fast enough you don’t hear the reset.
Let’s stop shooting modern pistols like they’re flintlock rifles.

How old is it? I assume it's a v1.0.
Sorry to break the bad news but lack of an audible/tactile reset was common to the 1.0s.
You can get an aftermarket trigger, do your own trigger job, or learn to shoot it as is before you start pumping parts into it.
The forum is filled with threads specific to the 1.0 trigger. Take a shot (pun intended) using the search feature here and in your chosen web search engine. Lot's of YT vids as well.
I have a FS 1.0 now wearing a 9L CORE slide with an RMR and a 1.0 9C so I've experienced the reset issue myself.
Welcome to the forum!

Yes it’s a 1.0
Previous owner said he never shot it so I figured it’s the factory trigger. I don’t know if I’ve ever owned a gun with a non feel trigger reset. I’ve probably owned 125+ handguns. Only 2 others were S&w though.

Dry fire until you can feel it. You won't be able to hear it—even a loud one—in most shooting situations. The idea is to feel it, learn it and muscle memory it.

Sounds like most M&P 1.0 triggers to me. It's a feature, not a fault.
