S&W (M&P), Glock (20/40), SA (Elite) and SIG (P320) 10MM
Has anyone shot and made a comparison of these four 10MM pistols?

Those four brands represent well over a dozen (probably over two dozen) different models and variations so you might want to be more specific about which ones interest you
I have eight different Smith & Wesson 10MM Auto firearms at the moment. I have been shooting some for more than 3 decades now. All of them are very good and I have zero hesitation about buying whichever one they offer next.
I will not buy a Glock and have never fired one in 10MM Auto. While they are reasonably accurate and reasonably reliable firearms, I do not like the way they feel and they are not for me. I have carried Glocks when that is what I was issued, but they will never be my choice.
I have not shot a Springfield Armoury pistol chambered in 10MM Auto but with my experience shooting their various 45 ACP pistols I would not object to owning one
I have had a couple SIG Sauer pistols chambered in 10MM Auto for over a decade now and love them. Their new plastic 10MM Auto pistol is just shipping these last several weeks. I was speaking to SIG this afternoon and was told that based on where I am on their list I should recieve mine in about three weeks. I expect it to perform like a SIG

For what it is worth, I owned a Glock 20 and have shot a friends SA XD 10mm (not sure the model other than it is full size). I prefered the way the Glock handled, and it seemed a little more accurate, in my hands at least. Part of my preference for the Glock may have been familiarity. No experience with the other two in 10mm. And don't forget the various 1911's available in 10mm.

I have owned a Glock 10mm and a Sig 220 10mm. Know one buddy that has the new M&P 10mm but has been having some issues not yet described to me so I will not comment. I never warmed up to the 10mm and have since sold or traded mine for other calibers. I do enjoy shooting my Sig 229 in 357 SIG and feel it would perform well in any situation. Thankfully, I retired before I was forced to carry a Glock but the dept is now swapping the Glocks for the military issue type Sigs.
