Default Is Gray the new Black in semiauto's? (M&P Metal)

The recent thread about the 2.0 Metal got me curious, so I bought one; picked it up today. It struck me that I now have four gray semiauto's the 2.0 Metal (I wish they had stamped that on it somewhere for groovitude), 2 Canik Rivals, and the mid-1990-ish SW9V, S&W's first value model of its then new Sigma line. I don't think the gray frame lasted long though.

Striker fired trigger pulls have certainly changed, but I don't mind the SW9V's trigger at all. And the grip feel is still one of the best I've ever held.

I must be color blind, or maybe it's the falsh of the camera? I can see the one grey, one grey with black grips(new two tone looks sick!) and two black Caniks?

Bad photographer.

They're actually lighter than the new M&P.

I just picked up my M&P 9 Metal last week. The performance of this gun out of the box is great, very accurate and a great trigger.
