I just qualified with my new MP45C for off duty carry.

Shoots great, much better than my other off duty guns.

Question though. The spring is soooo tight in the mags. The mag won't seat with 8 rds in it, very hard to rack it too. I am assuming that this is a normal thing, but it seems much tighter than other new guns. Anybody else ever have this problem?

Leave the mags loaded with 8rds. After some time (varies), they will get easier to laod and insert with 8rds in them.

I can't comment on the MP45C as I have a MP9C, however we share the same magazine concens. I have the same problem when the 12th round is loaded. My slide is a bit tighter than my full size as well. I'm thinking it may be a result of it being only 2 months old with 250 rounds put through it.

I ahve the 45c. the magazines are tight, but with eight rounds, just hit it hard and it will seat fine.

Well I have an M&Pc 357 sig and yeah the mags are a little tight on the tenth round but that is normal. I just bought an M&P 45 in 4" with 10 round capacity but havent received it yet. I guess buying another means I am happy with the M&Ps.

On my 40 they were snug. I know what you are talking about though. I had to really push them in there. Once I got into the habit of slamming them in and having the slide close itself it went away. I keep all the ones I have fully loaded at all times.
