Default Ambi.safety on M&Ps

I see M&P pistols listed now with the ambi safety. That was the only fault I ever had with my M&P9c was the lack of a safety as the trigger gets easier. It would be nice if you could ship your slide to S&W for a retro kit. We can only hope I guess. Bud's Gun Shop 439.00 delivered.

The safety is in the frame. The slide has nothing to do with the safety.

Thanks for straightening me out on that. I don't know what I was thinking. Nice photo. I assumed they were like the 3rd generation S&Ws. I had never seen one.

Dean,
I can understand the thumb safety trepidation, having come from a 1911' as my only carry semi-auto. But I confess it's reassuring to hear someone mentioning a constantly improving trigger pull, as a gun's "drawback"!
