Anyone have any experience with Sig 716 Patrol? Opinions?

Have not had the chance to shoot one. But, on the other hand, everything Sig I have used has been very, very good equipment.
If you can find one for a good price, I would jump on it.

I got it from the local gun dealer for $2299 plus tax. It came with the SIG SAUER CP1 Prismatic 3x Red Dot Scope in the price.

Good, Bad deal?

I am suppose to pick up the gun tomorrow night. So I called my LGD and renegotiated a bit and got him to do $2185 plus tax.

Nobody else in the area has them, and dealers I call say it will take 6-8 months.

They look like great guns, but a bit heavy IMHO
