I'm down to Eotech EXPS2 or 552 XR308. Any pros and cons?

The XPS buttons are on the side, the 552 on the back ... if you put a magnifier behind the 552, you have to flip it to the side to turn the eotech on or off.

The XPS uses CR123 lithium batteries, the 552 uses AA alkaline or lithium batteries ... be careful not to store expensive electronics with alkaline batteries installed too long since they can leak and corrode.

I have an XPS3 with the G33 magnifier on my M&P15TS. This setup works well on the AR15 platform. For me, it is accurate enough for hog hunting at 100 meters or less ... I have trouble seeing beyond 100 meters without better magnification.
