sw10 cycle promblem on new
i have to say my trust with sw front line office blocker has been less than pleasant. had to send a new mp10 that cost over 1800 buc to sw for which they had longer than myself 4wks to repair a non cycling issue just it bac 0n 28 feb. their was no explanation of what work had been done tried jackin a round and couldn't get it out this was a new problem when i finally did get it removed noticed heavy scares on the hornaday whitetail 150gr caseing any advice as to whom i can talk to and get some help cause it aint the ones i have dealt with so far. i do have four other sw guns with no issues ever, my ar10 is a core which has performed perfectly. right now i little trust with sw, but hay i didn't build the gun.

Call them first, BUT, be polite.
I've NEVER known SAW Customer Service to be unfriendly, so...
Send it back.

Hopefully you purchased the rifle recently from a reputable shop that will process your warranty claim for you ... and explain to you what's happening with the rifle under that process. You may be asked, depending on the symptoms you identify, to break-in the rifle before the claim will be processed.

I had some cycling issues as well during the break-in process. But after the first few dozen rounds I had no issues.

i bought this gun from gander mt. but because i didnt purchase their service agreement the associate said the best they could do was to purchase the gun bac at 60% of its value and this was after only a month, that was the first thorn as far as breakin its kinda hard when only one shot can be fired. I contacted sw and yes i was upset but never used profanity, recieved gun bac now when round is loaded i can't even extract it without breakin down and removing with a small hooked screwdriver i hav to say i am completely disscussded with this lemon

Sorry to hear your dilemma sir. Gander Mountain should be ashamed of selling you a rifle that MSRP's for $1619 for more than $1800, and then not providing you with any after-sales assistance ... that really blows. Definitely contact S&W, inform them of your previous work order number for the prior failure to cycle issue and identify your current failure to extract symptom. Before you pack the rifle for the return, fire the rifle until you get another failure to extract, and leave that fired casing in the chamber when you ship it back ... let the gunsmith extract it. Also, ask them if they want you to ship the magazine with the rifle as well ... if they do, make sure that it is noted on the work order and your packing list just in case the magazine is lost.

i thank everyone for their comments and advice, however i am just a workin joe and my money was saved just for this item, now if i pay large money to a large co. in my mind they should have sent a new gun and they could resolve the issues with me therefor having a loyal customer for now on,this puts me in the position that i am done with sw, by the way i had a rust issue with a ruger lc9 at the end of the barrel that would't go away gun was at least 6mo. old contacted ruger, they did the wright thing and replaced the gun, now thats customer satisfaction, i will unload this gun as sone as its safe never to buy another sw product again. when i'm done with somethin i'm done and thats all i have to say about that!

Gander MT after-sales Warranty
The M&P 10 has a lifetime warranty. All that Gander will do for you is navigate the RMA process for you and pay for shipping.
You can initiate the RMA process and document the issue on your own and only be out the shipping cost and still have paid less for their after-sale 1 year warranty (which includes one cleaning...)
