Default Installing Troy MRF 308 quad rail?

I just received my Troy low profile gas block and I will receive my Troy MRF 308 quad rail/handguard 13.8" next week. Anyone have any threads on the installation of these two on the M&P 10?

Good luck getting the barrel nut off. It can be a real pita. I helped a buddy remove his and after that experience, I just went up to my local gun shop and bought it through them. It was cheaper than direct from Troy by about $15 and they installed it for me the day it came in.

Have your local gunsmith change the barrel nut. Start there. The rest is a walk in the park with the TRX.

Yeah I may run into a little trouble finding someone local. I'll look.

Any difference in installing the TRX vs the MRF 308?

Would this wrench take care of everything as far as the removal and installation of the barrel nuts? Also, any need for a torque wrench? If so, got a link?

That tool should work. Yes, you will need a torque wrench. Hardware stores have them. Auto parts stores have them. Make sure it's 1/2" drive and can do 30-50 lbs-ft. They are fairly inexpensive to buy.
