I have an affinity for the Rock River Arms Two Stage Varmint Trigger (AR0093NMKV) . I have used it in my AR15's. I find the excessive creep in the stock trigger not to my liking.

Does this trigger kit fit the M&P10?

Is the M&P10 lower filled with AR15 parts? (Obviously the receiver is different as the mag well has to be bigger and the safety is ambidextrous ).

Triggers made to fit the standard AR will fit in the MP10. RR 2 stage triggers have a history of exhibiting early and excessive wear. Wor AR triggers will double and even triple. Geissele triggers cost more but are durable, crisp triggers with consistent performance.

If you use an RR 2 stage, keep a close eye on it

I've put several thousand rounds through three AR's with RRA triggers with no problems. YMMV

I've installed two RRA two stage trigger in AR's with no problem to date. The pricing is right for what it is and the Varmint trigger pull level is perfect for my uses. I will get one for the M&P10 since it drops in.

Enlighten me as to what YMMV means. I hate all these abbreviations that we are supposed to know what it means. What is wrong with plain old reading and writing, instead of trying to speak a "cool" language that only some understand.

YMMV means "Your Mileage May Vary"

The "Cool" language is described in the Urban Dictionary. Theses abbreviation make texting easier. When you can only two finger type on a tiny keyboard of a phone, reducing the common phrases to abbreviation makes sense.

For those of us that don't text it seems to distance us from those that do. I had to Google (that's Do a Google search on the Google Search engine) YMMV. I refuse to use those abbreviation but I don't care that others do use them. When I respond on any forum my aim is to make sure the meaning is clear. Being "Cool" is definitely no guarantee of that.

Got the Rock River Arms Varmint two stage trigger from Eagle Arms (at $88....such a deal!) yesterday and installed it today.

It is indeed a drop in design. But I did have to remove the right side mag release (one roll pin ) to get the RRA hammer into the receiver. The springs were installed and all that was necessary was to drop in the trigger assembly followed by the hammer assembly and put the right side mag release back on.

The pull is great great: a light first stage and bump up to the second stage with little additional creep with a crisp let off. I'm pleased to say the least but I knew up front how good these triggers are. If anything they are better than the same one I bought from RRA a couple years ago.

As an aside I once tired the JARD adjustable trigger and was not happy with it at all. The adjustment could not be optimize and get the trigger to work reliably. It adjustments were a compromise. The RRA trigger is so much better. Adjustments are not necessary.

Thanks for the info, LD....especially the $88 deal at Eagle Arms. I have varmint and mid length Rock Rivers and both have National Match triggers. Great triggers for the money...and if someone shoots enough to wear out a RRA trigger, then the barrel and many other parts will be worn and needing to be replaced too.
