Depending on your budget, you could just get the Burris you want, or take a look at the Burris XTR II line, they are more expensive but a great value considering the features. I don't know what type of hunting you are doing, but could you benefit from having a lower power than 6x as your minimum power (a 3-15x or 4-16x might be more useful depending on your hunting needs)?

I will be managing hogs, coyote, and deer.Yardage may vary so I plan on adding a fast fire on top. I want a scope that utilizes my m&p 10 at mid to long ranges.
Bushnell Elite Tactical?
Vortex Viper PST?

All would be great choices. The Bushnells (especially the higher end XRS, ERS, and DMR) are probably the best scopes for the money. The Burris XTRII probably has the most features for the money, and the Vortex PST is a great value and a proven performer. I am pretty sure all are available in MOA/MOA and Mil/Mil and are FFP or have FFP available as an option.

Would you be willing to try mounting the fast fire on a 45 degree mount? That way your cheek weld won't change much. Just rotate the rifle 45 degrees and aim. It might be quicker than trying to settle in to a higher weld with the fast fire mounted on top of the scope. Just an idea.

What do you mean by "long range"? Most hunting is done at 200 yards and less. A 20x magnification will be difficult to use unless you have a very stable platform to put it on.

@ Bigunz,
Rastoff brings out a good point, people define distances differently. For me, long range is 800-1000 yards, mid range is 500-600 yards, and short range is 200-300 yards.
On my 1000 yard rifle, a Remington 700 Long Range in 7mm Remington Magnum, I use a Vortex Viper 6-24x. On my non magnum 1000 yard rifle, a Remington 700 Varmint in 308, I have an older Weaver T16 with dot reticle. My midrange AR, wears a Weaver T10 with dot reticle. My short range (200-300 yards) rifle, a Remington 700 Varmint in 223, wears a Weaver T10 with dot reticle, also.
Honestly, I would not (by choice) use a Weaver T scope for hunting, too great a risk that they could be damaged. The T scopes that that I use are the old El Paso Weaver scopes, not the current crop of Japanese Weaver scopes.
While a little expensive (Amazon helped keep my cost down), I like the Vortex Viper scopes, especially with their no questions asked lifetime warranty.
For hunting, I have a Winchester Model 70 in 270 that wears a Pentax Gameseeker II.
If I were you, I would suggest that you look at Redfield, Weaver, and Leupold scopes, followed by the Pentax, Nikon, and Zeiss scopes. I would suggest that you keep in mind the scope's warranty before you make your purchase decision. Hunting scopes can get dinged easily, which can disturb the seal which can allow internal fogging.

Military snipers use a 10X US Optics out to 700 yds. Why would you need a 20X scope for hunting with a 308? You do not need to see the itty bitty holes in the paper at 300.
The Leupold VXR 3x12 with firedot is an awesome scope in 30mm tube that you can run to the max of the gun. High quality, light weight, illuminated and still affordable.
