Made my M&P10 less scarey
I could have sworn I had a thread on my M&P10 but I can't find it anywhere, so this is going to be a start from scratch.
This one is not long after I got it and was able to stock up on some ammo and magazines.
From the shop at the point of purchase, I had upgraded to a Hogue grip, Magpul MOE hand guard, Magpul SLR butt stock, and MBUS sights.
From there I got a Nikon M-308 scope with the 800 BDC reticule. Installed a low profile gas block so I could free float the barrel with an APEX 12.625" Hand guard. I also mounted a Harris 9-13" swivel bipod. And finally a BCM Mod 3 charging handle because of the scope.
And finally to make it less "scarey" with a Duracoat Multicam(ish) paint job.
EDIT: I forgot to mention it has a Geissellie SSA 4.5# trigger in it now too.

Thank you. It's kind of my pride and joy. I have it pretty much where I want it now.

Looks great. Wish could bring myself to paint up a rifle like that.

Thank you!
If in doubt, you can rattle can it with Rustoleum paints. Cleans off easy enough if you reconsider but durable enough to give it a try and see what you think. It won't hurt the rifle as long as you do the right prep work. There are plenty of videos on Youtube to get you started.

I have been trying to find a larger latch charging handle with no luck. I put a Brownells large latch on it, but wish it was bigger. Someone suggested a Falkor defense handle; they said it would work but the Mach 10 would not fit. BCM says on its website your handle won't work on the 10. Have you shot it? Thanks

Yes and it works fine. Could be that I got lucky. If it doesn't for you, either on here or on Youtube, shows how and what to modify so it does.

I contacted Falkor and the person who responded said he didn't know if it would work on the M&P 10. Said buy it and if it doesn't work, he'd refund the money. I haven't done it yet....

Sarge, It is still pretty scary but just harder to see.
Nice job. Love it.

Had some range fun. Not my best shooting but for M80 Lake City brass, not bad and the rifle runs fine with it.
And finally, 200 yards, just because.
