i see posts stating the stock port door pin may need to be replaced with a longer pin after installing new hand guards. i have a JP Enterprises MKIII JPHG3-1D on the way to me. can't find definitive answer as to whether this install will require the longer pin. and, where can i find the correct longer pin if necessary?

UPDATE: although there looks to be little interest in this topic, i'll just say this turned out to be a Non-issue. new Hand guard is on the gun, with 100 rds or so sent down range. no movement or problems noted at this time

I think what your talking about is the long ejection port door rod like whats needed for this Hand guard. on there description it says: Also fits M&P10. M&P10 requires long ejection port door rod.
