Default Need a new Mp10 gas tube

Hello all,

I am struggling getting a factory gas tube for my new low profile gas block I've waited 4 weeks calling s&w every monday and no luck. I've read all kinds of info on how it's longer then a normal midlength so I thought I would make a quick post and get some info.

I need a factory or aftermarket replacement so I can get my rifle up and running and info or experience you guys have had doing this will be greatly appreciated.

I was reading on a different forum today that the S&W rifles use the DPMS pattern parts.
Give DPMS a call.

If you replaced the gas block, can you recover your original gas tube?

I've already broken two nice punches trying to remove the old tube. at this point i feel trying to remove the old tube will just result in damage to it.

I get it but its just kind of frustrating that smith doesn't have any to purchase for so long. Also all the different types of AR10s makes figuring out what works with what a nightmare.

From the roll pin hole to the end of the tube it is roughly 11 7/8 inches maybe a bit under

I believe it is the Armalite gas tube that works.

This is what I used when I replaced my gas block.

Default Gas tube removal

The gas pins are tapered, thicker on one end than the other. I suggest you go to youtube for a primer. I struggled with getting mine to initially move, heated it with a torch and it basically fell out.
