Default New M&P 10 question

I bought an M&P 10 recently and when I was doing the initial cleaning in preparation for going to the range I realized the barrel was pretty dirty. It has definitely been fired. Does anyone know the procedure at S&W with these rifles? I assume it was test fired at the factory, but the barrel was pretty dirty. Overall though, there is no evidence of wear on the rifle. I have an M&P15 sport and a 9mm shield and I didn't notice the barrels really dirty at all. I bought the gun from grabagun.com, which I've never done before but it was the best deal on this relatively expensive rifle. Thanks for your input in advance.

In case anyone else was wondering, S&W said they fire the M&P10 20 times and the M&P15 25 times at the factory. So yeah, the barrel comes a little dirty.
