Default Cycling issues after trigger upgrade?

Curious if anyone has run into cycling issues after a trigger upgrade. I have a new M&P10 in 308, put 100 rounds through it without any issues. Installed an Elftmann AR10/308 trigger and have repeatable issues since, honestly I'm lucky to fire 2 rounds before a malfunction. When it fires, it ejects the casing of the round fired without issue and it appears to chamber the next round fine. But when I pull the trigger, nothing, like the safety is on or something. If I pull the charging handle, the unfired round ejects and new round chambers. Pull the trigger and it fires. It malfunctions like this on almost every round, on occasion I'm able to get 2 shots off before the issue reoccurs.

Check the trigger function and make sure the disconnector is doing its job. Sounds like maybe the hammer isn't being held back on the disconnector and is following the bolt.

I wasn't familiar with your particular trigger. Looks like there's some sort of adjustment on the disconnector. The instructions says if you have this too far out of adjustment then the disconnector won't release the hammer. Give that set screw a turn in and see if that helps.

Been chewing my lip to keep it buttoned but no longer:
What motivates many of the first posters to whine for help demanding instant help, then go silent? Common courtesy should be to at least respond with something like a simple thanks, or better yet to respond if the suggestion worked or not. Isn't that why most of us come here- To learn?
Guess I'm getting old and tired of this new order that is taking over expecting to take a trophy home for showing up.
