Friend got an M&p 10, .308. He decided a new Timney trigger was in order. Not being terribly mechanical he asked for some assistance installing the Timney.

Having done several Timney tigger installs in bolt guns I felt fairly confident on the undertaking. Following the Timney instructions was quite straight forward except for the lack of instruction on dealing with the ambidextrous bolt release.

The S&W owners manual was silent on disassembly of the bolt release. A quick search of the S&W forum gave the needed guidance on the removal and reinsertion of the roll pin that secures the bolt release.

Thanks to those who share their knowledge.
