Think I found a solution to short stroking ammo
I got a recoil spring from David Tubb:
Tubb Precision AR-10 Stainless Steel Buffer Spring (Fits both Carbine and Standard length stocks)
This spring really slams the action shut. It’s longer than the stock spring by quite a bit. Flat steel for the coils too. I am told it takes the recoil won a notch.
Haven’t shot it yet but I have ammo to test with...
