Default New swfa ss HD 5×20 scope question

I just bought a Swfa ss HD 5-20 scope for my 6.5 creedmoor. I went out to zero today and got some fantastic groups. However, I notice that my scope zero at 100 yards positions my elevation 1.5 full turns above being bottomed out. Given one turn on the turret is 10 mils this seems a bit excessive. I can understand not wanting to be bottomed out, but 10 mils? I do have at least 15 mils of further elevation left however. Should I consider a 20 moa mount?
