Default Sub moa at 200 yards

Been out shooting my MP 10 in 6.5 creedmoor. Today at 200 yards enjoyed a three shot group 3/4" across. Sub moa with an over the counter semiautomatic action. Not bad!

Great shooting. I can see why you are proud of that less than 1/2 MOA.

Sub half MOA...

Mighty impressive for a semi-auto! That’s on par with my best bolt action varmint rifle on a calm day with handloads.

is that like getting a hole in one on your first ever golf swing, and saying no pro has a more impressive average?

I am consistently amazed by my .308 M&P 10 with mutt M80 NATO ball every time I take it to the range.

Coming up on five years for the post, and the OP's last visit. Hope he is still shooting those tiny groups.

Question: I have a Colt "Sporter" (AR-15/.223). It too shoots impressive groups (5 rounds at 100 Yards into 3/8")------when fired S L O W L Y---from a cool barrel.

Fired rapidly (enough to warm up the barrel some), those impressive groups (Also fired S L O W L Y---but from a warm barrel) become a thing of the past.

I'm assuming the same exists with these rifles----yes?
