Its looking like a Smith& Wesson year for fanocool
Because since the 1st of the year, the war department has approved 2 new purchases since I busted my kiester all of 2009 and I bought her a new poochie . 1st a 696 4"er and now the M&P 15-22, both I love but the M&P has me all funny goofy feeling and I can blast tons o rounds way cheaper than I'm used to. Question of the day to you 15-22 guys is which mod did you make first or would you make first. I'm on a short leash for a while and gotta keep the rifle Massachusetts compliant Oh and just wanna say awesome forum all the way around

I ordered my first red dot and I plan on adding a grip. Being in NY, there's nothing I can do to the stock because the damned thing is pinned, unfortunately.

First thing was a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x scope on a set of Warne QD rings. Next up is filling out the paper work and sending a check into the Feds for a supressor.

My first mod was optics. Second was a Rock River NM 2 stage trigger. (There are other trigger mods that cost less, the RR is an easy drop in.)

mods make the gun yours the only person you have to impress is urself... i tore mine apart the 2nd day i had it and threaded the barrel and built 2 different barrel shrouds for it... ordered optics the same day but had a spair setting around so i installed it till the other gets here.. the next day at a gun shop found a set of hogue grips in the clearance bin for $10... now im waiting on valintines for my wife to let me have my granade launcher (that she has done bought)
my only suggestion is "MAKE IT YOURS"

Houge grip, Primary Arms M3 red dot, LaRue index clips and rail covers and CAA bipod. I plan on a 3X magnifier in the near future.

Stage 1: My first mods after 10 minuets of getting it home were to borrow a Magpul CTR and Mako foregrip from my Bushmaster, and a holosight from my Ruger. It was good to go.
Stage 2- Bought a Tapco composite riser and put on tube red dot I had laying around in the gun gadget closet. Bought UTG rail covers.
Stage 3- Threw away UTG rail covers and bought Larue Index Clips and Magpul XTM covers. Bought Houge grip.
Future Stage 4. Belt_Fed to thread barrel. Purchase UTG Series 6 carry handle. Put on Colt clone 4x scope i have laying in the gun gadget closet. Haven't decided on muzzle gadget yet.
