Default SW15 Optics Ready

Local Gander is again offering the MP15 Optics Ready version for $799.99 (after the $100 mail rebate). How does this compare elsewhere? Reasonable?

I'm thinking it is. Probably could get it for cheaper somewhere else but once I include, shipping, gas, local taxes, etc. it might be a wash.

That's where I picked mine up, same price, just got the Gander rebate check in the mail today. Waiting for my S&W rebate check to arrive too.

I just picked up an MP 15 OR flat top at CDNN Sports, Inc. for $699 +3% for credit card (+$21) +$15 shipping+$25 FFLfee Atlanta -$100 rebate = $660 drive out. I added front low profile sight, rear flip up dual peep each $30 and am good to go. Ask for Cody... great guy. Fast ship, nothing but good to say. cdnn has some unbelievable deals on every kind of gun going right now. Just unbelievable! paul/shovel

shovel99, thanks for the link. I had never heard of CDNN before. I just looked at their price on the M&P 15T....Wow! Buying from them is going to save me about $350 dollars without the rebate alone.

Talking

I ordered my M&P15OR from CDNN on Wednesday. FedEx shows it to my FFL on MONDAY!! I talked to Steve, who was very helpful, ... Very pleased so far. After $699 -100 rebate, +3% credit card, + FFL, in the end it will be right at $660.
You can't buy guns from their web site, you have to call them.
Steve said they had a large batch a month or so back (that's when they sent the catalog out), and sold out very quickly. He said they had received another lot this week, and had about 150 when I called. So for once, timing worked for me!!
Steve said they would expect to sell all of them in a couple days; but since so many people think they were out of stock, they may go slower this time.
I've only ordered Mags from CDNN before. Always great service on them, and so far perfect on the MP15OR.

I have already posted on this topic, but was in a local Gander for the first time in a while....WOW, are their gun prices high. Probably every new gun was at least $50 higher than I can get it from the local small gun shop, and most were more like $100 high. Inventory was very slim, and in fact all depts were light in stock. They had a ad in the paper on sunday, and I stopped Monday morning for several good deals.... BUT every item was not in the store, and the only answer I got back was "its limited to supply on hand, stop back in every couple days, you might get lucky".

I dont think Gander will be around long.

Received my M&P 15OR on Monday as promised (ordered last Wed). It arrived in perfect new condition, in box, with manual, registration card, 30 round pMag. CDNN also threw in a copy of the "Born in the USA" discount form for S&W, and some free targets. I put MagPul MBUS on it, cleaned it, and took it to my friends range. Put 160 rounds through, all perfect.
I am thrilled with this gun! And at the CDNN price, well I'm down right astounded that this worked out so well for me.
And it (the 15OR) looks very happy in the safe next to our S&W M&P 15-22:-) :-)
