Muzzle break suggestions for 3 gun
I plan to use my M&P 15 in 3 gun matches. Am looking for a good muzzle break / compensator that will screw right on. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Mr. O

I don't shoot 3 gun, but I do have a couple of comps on AR's.
I have an Ops Inc R3E2C on my 6.8 SPC II. It does a very good job of reducing felt recoil (and increasing volume).
On my 5.56 I use a Nordic Components Corvette comp. Does away with practically all muzzle rise.

You can try one of mine.
There are 25 holes facing the sides and up. This keeps from blowing dust into your field of view if you are lying prone in the dirt.
It is 2 1/4" long and is the same diameter as a standard A2 birdcage. It tapers down to the same diameter as an M4 barrel.

I'm planning to use this AAC muzzle break on my next build. I like the reduced length and the look of it.

Just an FYI to some members here: A semi-local company came out with a new break that looks pretty damn good. You guys might want to try it out, they have pre-orders for it($99):

I use a BlackHole Weaponry DragonBrake on one rifle, and a Smith Vortex G6A2 on another. Both are in the $50 range.

Do those little round things blow off on the first shot? That would be awesome to see in slow motion.

Apparently reflections are easier to do in CAD than threads.

I'm not into 3 gun competitions, but I have set up one of my rifles to be lightweight and fast. Fast follow up shots that is. I've got the Battle Comp 1.0 on a Daniel Defense mid length upper. There is a world of difference between my issue M4 and my personal gun. The Battle Comp makes a big difference. It's such a flat shooting rifle now. A quick Google search will bring up lots of reviews and videos.
Check it out.

I have one of Tacticool's brake and it is well made and looks great. I've got it on my 15-22p and it seems to work. I am going to put it on my much anticipated sporter.
