Default Looking at Ambidextrous releases

AR-15/M16 AMBI-CATCH™ - Brownells

Does anybody have an experience with the Norgon Ambi-Catch, or something similar? I'm a lefty and would like to have a mag release I can operate with my left index, but I also have some joined double mags and was concerned if anything would catch on them. Also, I don't really get how this would really work, looking at the way the stock one moves and works, it dosen't seem like you'd get enough leverage from this..

I'm also interested in an extended bolt release. The BAD wouldn't work I don't think....unless you could operate it with a left thumb. But I'd prefer a smaller piece that would just extend the normal release back toward the stock maybe an inch or two. I haven't found anything like that, but maybe someone on here would know.
