Default Fed XM855LC1 and one of those days...

Ever have one of those days where you have just picked up 2 ammo boxes (420 Rounds Each in Stripper Clips) and you get to your local indoor range only to have them tell you that you can't shoot the green tips there?

I of course knew this but still being fairly new to 5.56 ammo and my LGS being out of the 193 that I got last time, just didn't think when I bought it...

Thanks goodness I had a box of .223 Federal bulk with me so the day wasn't a complete loss. Also launched about 400 rounds of .22 from the 15-22. Let with a smile on my face and so did my kid.

I was told about one yesterday in the DC area. that one of our members shoots at. Next time I am visiting my M-I-L I am going to take my sport and check it out. Sounds like fun.

I bought 1200 rounds of IMIM885 and no green tip. Same 62gr bullet. Don't shoot indoors anyhow.

NRA indoor range in Fairfax, VA. If you're ever in the DC Metro area, I highly recommend it. Fire the Sport there often.
I've seen shotguns, Garands, other long rifles, and of course pistols. No hassles on ammo type either (except for buckshot...gotta be slugs).

Grover, hit me up when your in MD. We'll make the trip.
