S&W AR15 Sport Newbie
Hello everyone, I am a AR15 newbie and just bought an AR15 Sport. I am learning stuff the hardaway as I recently bought a set od AIM quad rails that does not fit where the handguard was located. Any suggestions? I am not looking for a full free floating set yet, I am still new to this and not looking to sink that kind of cash into it......Yet... Suggestion on rails that would fit without adjustments? Thanks

Welcome to the addiction/club! I and several others have the Magpul MOE hand guard. Got mine on the bay for $22 shipped. You need the carbine length, btw. Good luck and be safe.

I have the AB Arms Handguard, like the built in handstop and not looking like all the others. Welcome to the Club. Got mine also on the bay $39 shipped. Get ready to feed the addiction. We call it the EBR disease (evil black rifle) LOL

Here's a suggestion:
Midwest Industries: Gen2 Drop-in Two Piece
There are other drop in quad-rail options available. Whatever rails or handguard you decide to get, you'll need carbine length.
And to answer a possible future question: the 15-Sport uses a mil-spec buffer tube and mil-spec butt stock.
Welcome aboard! If you have any questions, just ask.

+ 1,000,000
I'd been removing hand guards by hand. While I could do it by hand, it wasn't fun. I bought an AIM Sports AR15 Delta Ring tool, and removing/installing the handguard is quick and easy. $10

^ I had a little fun with it. Fumbled reinstalling the lower 1/2 because it was hard to see what I was doing through the little camera viewfinder.

Welcome to the site. I can't wait to get my sport out of lock up (layaway) at cabelas just in time for my birthday. I currently own the 15-22. Have fun!
