Default Quick review of Nikon P-series AR mount

I wanted an inexpensive option to mount a scope for coyote hunting. I think these mounts are a good buy for $50. They are solid and the locking bolts are oversized as well. They lock tight. They are a little hard to get on and I had to use a mallet to get them off. They will scratch the underside of the rail. I'm not too worried about that on the sport, ymmv.

Why did you have to use a mallet to get them off, don't they spread wide enough to lift off?

They were very tight to begin with and when I took the bolt out they were still tight on the rail. A little bump with a mallet and they loosened up enough to come off.
