im looking for a complete upper off a sport for a new build im gunna do. i hope someone can help me out with this.

Concedering some of use paid just under 600 dollars for a complete rifle with a 739 retail price ,buy the whole thang. Sell off what you just don't need or want.

Sport models are hard enough to find let alone just an upper. Like Hardluk1 said just but the whole rifle and do your thing.

i know tell me about it sounds like i might just have to buy the whole thing.

You could try to by the barrel from S&W and get you a slick sided upper receiver either from Smith or from someone else and build your own Sport Style upper! The barrel they are using on a few other rifles now and it is the Jewel of the sport.

Hey Dewey if you can get the barrel I have a stripped Sport upper receiver I'd be willing to part with. PM me if something works out on the barrel front. I was going to build another upper but I think I'm just going to invest in more guns
