Default lucid 3x/5x mag

i checked out a lucid red dot and it was as clear as the trijicon at less then half the price. This led me to check out there magnifiers. I need a magnifier for my eotech but I don't want to spend $500+ if I don't have to. they run around $200 and i was wondering if anyone has a lucid magnifier. how do you like it?

I have a Lucid HD7 w/x2 multiplier and it is a very good optic. I'm not sure the extra weight or cost of the higher x's is worth it.
