I've had a Barska 6.5 X 20 variable on my 7mm-08 Remington for several years now and never had one problem. In my opinion, the Barska is a good scope that doesn’t get enough credit.

Seeing that you posted here in the M&P15 section, you might check out this one.

Used plenty of inexpensive optics over the years, including Barska. Considered to be near the bottom of the totem pole by most everyone, the 2 or 3 I still have around work great.

That being said, I really like Burris glass. Only purchase 30mm tube scopes anymore myself.

I have a couple of old Bushnell Banner Trophy Sportview BDC and Tasco 3-9x that I've used to take the most game. It's not the gear but the skill of the person behind the trigger.

Don't overlook turkey scopes like the Nikon. Barska might even have one in the 1.5-6x range. Nice compromise.

Nice option you posted there DesertFox.
I bought a Barska 6-24x50 to replace the one I had damaged in Shipping. I can always find a rifle to put it on. The one that was damaged is being replaced. I will save them for when I do my next big makeover of the rifle.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Barska scopes. I will never buy another one.

Same here and it cost me $20 for them to check it out UNDER WARRANTY Plus $11 to ship it to them. Never again

I bought a Barska, about $45.00, just as well throwed the money out the window. The dot was off center. They seem to be hit ,or miss on quality. Mikey
