You can use the tip of a 5.56 round. Depress it and move it one way or another depending on which way you want to adjust. Or, you can get a sight adjustment tool and make things really easy.

And --- UP will move your point of impact down, while DOWN will move it up.

Or use a small screw driver, or a nail, etc. Anything that will allow you to depress the pin. Then, like others said, with the pin depressed, simply move the item you used to depress the pin in either clockwise or counter clockwise. You turn it until the pin pops back up, locking it in place again. That would equal one "click".

Thank you to everyone for the input I have another question if I want to have my eotech above my front sight should I get raised rails if so how tall. I don't want to lose my front sight just a little less in the eotech. Any and all thoughts are appreciated. Again thanks for all the help. What a great forum.

Is the XPS Absolute Cowitness? If so, I believe there are some risers that can give you lower 1/3. I wouldn't raise it much more then that. Eventually, you simply forget about your front sight.

Billy jack it is absolute I want to keep it in the Lowe part of scope. Never know when standard iron will be needed
Cyphertext I will look into what they are offering on the links you provided not sure how tall the riser needs to be as to cowitness front fixed sight. Thanks for the input. I will let you know what I decide and how it works.

I dont even remember what I paid for it...maybe $5? Used it during one range trip to zero in the irons and made it so much easier. I had tried the screwdriver and bullet tip trick. They just scratched the finish.

Mike,
I bought the Yankee Hill Machine EOTech Co-Witness Riser Mount AR-15 Flattop that cyphertext linked to. I got it for $25 from Primary Arms. Fit and finish is good and it's a solid mount under the Eotech.
