Default Scopes similar to Trijicon TA11??

After considering what I would use a scope for (self defense and possible hunting out to a few hundred yards) I keep getting drawn to this optic. Good eye relief, fast target acquisition and the ability to reach out for a longer shot if needed. I also like the fact it does NOT use a battery. Huge consideration.

I'm only window shopping at this point but its difficult to justify dropping 1200 on a 700 rifle or should I reconsider this thought?

Are there less expensive options out there with the same functionality? Any small game hunting I do would be done with my .22lr / high powered scope combo I have. No need for me to have a higher powered optic on the Sport.

Thoughts?? Opinions??

TA33 is still a grand! Ouch! I know you get what you pay for but I'm the type if I spend 1000 I'll wait and spend 1200. That's why I'm always broke!! Lol

the TA11...wow what a scope, on the Trijicon website the list it for $1499 with a 14 week wait on delivery. heck of a scope. you know if you join the Army I am sure they would let you play with one for free, even pay you too. LMAO
Heck they would even supply the Ammo.....

I know right! If I wasn't a 50 y/o man I would Grover! I'm in damn good shape but I believe they frown on grandpa recruits. Lol The TA11's are out there...for $1200.

Maybe I need to suck up my values and find a rich 65 y/o cougar who needs a little lovin??? Hahaha!!
