Talking New Handguard!!

So I found a new handguard over the last week and have really been tossing it around in my head whether I want it or not. I have a really nice Nordic on one Sport and the DD Modular Float 12.0 on another. Both rifle length. I can get one heck of a deal on the new one. Under $60 for rifle length, just wanting input cause I change things way way way too often.Spiralhandguard.jpg

I can pick it up really cheap for a nice handguard...I am having to really think about it but I think I am going to put it on order. But then I have a rifle length Nordic free float handguard for sale LOL

Looks nice. How warm will it get after a couple of Magazines? Doesn't look like much ventilation. I have a Tac II Discreet Carry AR-15 held together by a 7" threaded tube, no ventilation, gets hot fast.

I have had a DPMS non-ventilated, it got a little warm, I have a Nordic rifle length on it now plus a DD modular 12.0 on another. I do not do mag dumps or shoot fast to get them to heat up. When I go shooting I may shoot 25 rounds in an hour.

Maybe that wasn't you I referred to as Ken earlier. Sorry man. With someone here I joked they were like Ken always pulling something off Barbie. (Reference to ARs being the Barbie of the rifle world)

Oh really? I've been thinking of putting a low profile gas block & a free float on my KISS Sport. Is there a way of installing a front sight to it, or will the installation of this handguard make the rifle an optics only rifle?

Hey Grover question for you! Where can I get a cheap narrow (tube) handguard that I can put a light on. I have an A2 front base.

Japes, you can get a handguard length rail or smaller rail segments for this handguard from Nordic. I have seriously thought about doing that several times. I appreciate the PM's about the handguard and I do keep going back and forth on it. I am going to have to ask some more questions from the seller before I would purchase it. The biggie is how does it attach.

TF...let me check with the guy I got my nordic from. they are narrow and you can get a short rail segment for it. they sell carbine length so I will find out for you.
